Terminal 1 vs Terminal 2 — which one will you use?

Antalya Airport has two international terminals (T1 and T2) plus a separate domestic terminal. Which international terminal you arrive at depends on your airline, not your destination — both handle scheduled and charter traffic. The terminals are a few minutes apart by car, so a pre-booked driver simply needs your flight number to be at the right door.

• Terminal 1 — the larger international terminal, used by many scheduled European carriers and charter operators.
• Terminal 2 — the second international terminal; several major carriers and summer charters land here.
• Domestic Terminal — Turkish Airlines, AJet and Pegasus domestic connections from Istanbul and Ankara.

Step-by-step: from landing to your driver

1. Disembark and follow "Arrivals / Varış". Signage is in English and Turkish, and the walk to passport control is 5–10 minutes.
2. Passport control. Most tourist nationalities enter Türkiye visa-free or with an e-Visa obtained online in advance. Queues are typically 15–30 minutes, longer on summer Saturdays.
3. Baggage claim. Screens show your flight's belt number. Free luggage trolleys are available at the belts.
4. Customs. Walk through the green channel if you have nothing to declare.
5. Meet your driver. Directly after customs in the arrivals hall, your driver waits with a name sign. You already have their name and vehicle plate on WhatsApp.
6. Drive to your hotel. The vehicle is parked in the short-stay car park a 2–3 minute walk away — parking fees are already included in your fixed price.

• ATMs — all major Turkish banks have ATMs in arrivals; they dispense TRY and most accept foreign cards. Choose "without conversion" for a better rate.

• SIM / eSIM — Turkcell, Vodafone and Türk Telekom counters sell tourist packages in arrivals. Cheaper option: buy a Turkish eSIM online before your trip and land connected.
• Wi-Fi — free for a limited session after registration. Enough to send your driver a WhatsApp message.
• Pharmacy, café and shops — available in the public arrivals area on the ground floor of both terminals.

Taxi rank, bus or private transfer?

Street taxis wait outside both terminals and run on a meter plus airport surcharges — workable for short hops to Lara, but for Belek the final price depends on traffic and route, and large families rarely fit in a sedan with luggage. Public buses and the AntRay tram serve Antalya city cheaply but do not reach Belek hotels directly; with luggage you would need multiple changes.
