- For Kursunlu, aim for winter or early spring; the falls slow to a near-trickle in high summer, while the Duden falls, Manavgat and Green Canyon flow well year-round.
- Start early - mornings mean cooler walking, easier parking and fewer crowds, especially for the popular Antalya-side parks.
- Bring some cash for park entry fees and, at Green Canyon, the boat and lunch, which are usually bought on site and are separate from your transfer fare.
- Wear comfortable shoes: paths at Kursunlu, Upper Duden and Sapadere include steps or boardwalks, and cliff edges at the Duden and Lara viewpoints need a close eye on children.

Frequently asked questions
Are these trips good for young children?
Yes, most are very family-friendly. Kursunlu has a children's playground, mostly easy paved paths, footbridges and picnic areas (with a few steps down to the falls). Manavgat is easy too, with short walks, viewing platforms and play areas. Upper Duden is a clean, easy park loop, though the staircase down to the cave behind the falls is steep - with a pram, walk the loop in reverse to avoid it. Green Canyon is a long 7-8 hour day that suits older children better than toddlers. We provide free child seats for every trip.
Can you swim at the waterfalls?
It depends on the site. Green Canyon has dedicated swimming and snorkelling stops in sheltered bays (cold water, around 18-20 C), and Sapadere has ice-cold natural rock pools with ladders fitted to climb in. Boat trips on the Manavgat River often include swimming stops at river beaches. Kursunlu and the Duden falls are for viewing and walking rather than swimming - the pools there are part of protected nature parks.
Can the driver wait while we visit?
Yes, always. Waiting time and the return journey are included in the fixed per-vehicle price. There is no meter and no extra per-person charge - your driver stays with the vehicle while you explore, walk the trails, swim or take a boat, then drives you back to your hotel.
Is Green Canyon a boat trip?
Yes - the classic Green Canyon experience is a full-day double-deck catamaran cruise along roughly 14 km of the emerald reservoir behind the Oymapinar Dam, with swimming stops, a lakeside lunch and a photo stop at the towering dam wall. Our transfer takes you from your Belek hotel to the boat departure and back; the boat ticket and lunch are usually arranged on site and are separate from the transfer fare.
Can we combine a waterfall with an ancient site?
Absolutely, and it is one of the most popular ways to use a private car. Kursunlu pairs naturally with Perge and Aspendos (often extended to Side), and Manavgat is about 15 minutes from Side Ancient City on the return route.
