The experience
Bahar Wave is one of the more compact yachts working out of Kundu Harbour, and that is its appeal. At 14 metres long and 4 metres wide, with one cabin, two showers and a WC, it is sized for a party of up to 12 rather than a crowd, so nobody queues for the deck and nobody else's playlist is playing. The hire lasts four hours and costs £60 per person, with the captain and crew, lunch, unlimited soft drinks, insurance and hotel transfer all inside that figure. It suits birthdays, two or three families holidaying together, or friends who want the sea without joining a shared party boat.
The day starts at your hotel entrance, where our driver collects the group at the time confirmed on WhatsApp and drives to Kundu Harbour. On board, the crew run through the safety points and the captain asks where you would like to go; with no other passengers to please, the route is agreed between you. Expect a run along the shore to calm water for a first swim, lunch served on deck, then a second anchorage for more swimming and sunbathing before the boat turns for home. Four hours after casting off you step back onto the quay and the same vehicle returns you to the hotel.
How the day works
- Hotel pickup — our driver collects your group at the hotel entrance at the time confirmed on WhatsApp and drives to Belek Kundu Harbour.
- Boarding — meet the captain and crew, stow bags in the cabin and hear a short safety briefing before the lines are cast off.
- First swim stop — the boat heads along the shore to calm water where the group can swim, float or simply cool off from the deck.
- Lunch on board — lunch is served on deck at anchor, with soft drinks available throughout the charter.
- Second anchorage — a second stop for more swimming, sunbathing and photos, with the on-board showers to rinse off the salt.
- Return to harbour — the captain turns for Kundu Harbour as the four hours draw to a close.
- Hotel drop-off — the same vehicle is waiting at the quay to take you straight back to your hotel.

Good to know
Ask for a morning departure if you have small children: the sea is usually calmer and the deck cooler before midday, and everyone is back at the hotel in time for a rest. The boat is listed as sailing every day, and the warmest water runs from late June to early October. Children are welcome and the cabin gives shade, but no child rate is published, so tell us ages when you enquire. Wear swimwear under light clothes, bring a hat and reef-safe sun cream, and choose sandals or deck shoes you can kick off. Anyone who suffers at sea should take a tablet an hour before boarding.
What to bring
- Swimwear worn under your clothes and a towel
- High-factor sun cream, a hat and sunglasses
- A light cover-up for when the breeze picks up on deck
- A waterproof pouch for phones, keys and cash
- Cash for the fare and any extras agreed with the crew
- Sandals or deck shoes you can slip off easily
- Motion-sickness tablets if you are prone to seasickness
Boat charters live or die on the pickup, because a captain cannot wait at the quay for a group held up at a hotel barrier. Transfers are what we do in Belek, Kadriye and Bogazkent, so our driver knows which gate each resort uses and which vehicle fits your party, and you receive the pickup time in writing on WhatsApp the moment the booking is confirmed. The £60 per person price is fixed before you leave the hotel, paid in cash, with no online deposit and no surcharge on the quay. Message +90 551 464 26 32 with your date, hotel and head count, and we do the rest.
Fixed price, no prepayment. Send the date and number of guests on WhatsApp, receive a written confirmation with your pickup time, and pay on the day. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup for day excursions.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the Bahar Wave charter cost and what is covered?
The charter is £60 per person for the four-hour hire, and the boat carries up to 12 people. That figure already includes the captain and crew, lunch, unlimited soft drinks, insurance and the transfer between your hotel and Kundu Harbour. There is no online deposit; you pay in cash and the price we confirm on WhatsApp is the price you pay. Anything you request outside the agreed package is settled separately with the crew.
How long is the hire, and can we extend it?
The standard Bahar Wave hire is four hours on the water, which is long enough for two swim stops and lunch without anyone getting bored or burnt. Add around half an hour each way for the drive between Belek and Kundu Harbour. No hourly or full-day rate is published, so if you want a longer charter, ask on WhatsApp and we will check availability and quote a fixed figure before you commit.
Is the boat suitable for children, and is there a child price?
Yes, families book Bahar Wave precisely because the whole boat is theirs and the pace is set by the group. The cabin gives shade, the showers rinse off salt, and the crew keep an eye on swimmers. No separate child or infant rate is published for this charter, so send us the children's ages when you enquire and we will confirm exactly what your party pays. Child seats for the transfer are free.
Where do you pick us up, and where does the boat leave from?
We collect you at the entrance of any hotel in Belek, Kadriye or Bogazkent at a time agreed on WhatsApp, and drive you to Belek Kundu Harbour, where Bahar Wave is moored. If your resort does not allow vehicles past the barrier, the driver waits at the security gate and messages you. After the four-hour charter the same driver takes you back to the hotel, and the return leg is included.
What happens if we need to cancel or the weather turns?
Because payment is in cash rather than online, there is no prepayment to chase. Private charters carry their own conditions, which we set out in writing on WhatsApp before you confirm, so read that message and ask if anything is unclear. Give us as much notice as you can if plans change. If the captain decides the sea is too rough to sail, we will look for another date in your stay first.
What should we bring on board?
Pack light: swimwear under your clothes, a towel, a hat, sunglasses and high-factor sun cream, plus a waterproof pouch for phones and cash. Sandals or deck shoes you can slip off are better than trainers, and a light cover-up helps once the breeze picks up. Lunch and soft drinks are provided, so you only need snacks for fussy eaters. Bring cash for the fare and any extras, and a motion-sickness tablet if you tend to feel queasy.
