This guide sets out every popular day trip with its approximate distance from Belek, a realistic drive time and our fixed private-transfer price, so you can plan a full day without guessing the cost. All figures are for the whole vehicle, paid in cash to the driver.

Planning day trips from Belek: distances and fixed fares

Belek is unusually well placed for sightseeing. The nearest big attraction, the Land of Legends theme park, is barely 6 to 7 kilometres away, a ten to fifteen minute hop at 15, 25 or 30 euros by sedan, Vito or minivan. The Roman sites cluster to the west and north, the ancient towns and canyon lie to the east, and Antalya's old quarter sits about 43 to 45 kilometres along the coast.

Ancient cities: Aspendos, Perge and Side

The three great classical sites near Belek make an easy history day. Aspendos is the closest and the highlight, roughly 21 kilometres and 25 to 30 minutes north, home to one of the best-preserved Roman theatres anywhere; our fixed transfer is 50, 70 or 90 euros. Entry is around 15 euros and the gate opens at 08:00, with closing between about 17:30 and 20:00 by season, so check locally.

Perge lies about 29 kilometres away, 30 to 40 minutes, and pairs naturally with Aspendos on the same run; its stadium, colonnaded street and baths reward an hour or two. Because it is usually combined, message us for a fixed two-stop quote rather than a single-site price. Side ancient city is further east, about 44 to 45 kilometres and 45 to 55 minutes, at 45, 55 or 70 euros; the harbourside Temple of Apollo is free to view and the town museum charges a small fee. Waterfalls: Kursunlu and the Duden falls

Two waterfall trips sit within an easy morning of Belek. Kursunlu is the prettier of the pair, a shaded canyon of cascades and pools inside a nature park about 30 kilometres and 35 to 45 minutes away; entry is a few euros in lira and it opens roughly 08:00 to 19:00 in summer, so check locally. It works well as a cool, green half-day when the coast is baking.

The Duden falls lie about 34 kilometres and 40 to 50 minutes towards Antalya. The upper falls at Dudenbasi flow through a park with walkways behind the water, while the lower falls at Karpuzkaldiran drop straight into the sea near Lara and are free to view from the clifftop. Park entry and hours vary by season, so treat any figure as approximate. Neither waterfall carries a fixed line price on our board, so message us on WhatsApp with your group size for a set fare, or pair either one with a nearby stop such as Aspendos or the Mall of Antalya.

Antalya city: Kaleici old town and Mall of Antalya

Antalya's walled old town, Kaleici, is the classic city day from Belek, about 43 to 45 kilometres and 45 to 65 minutes along the coast, at 40, 50 or 65 euros. Wandering the lanes down to the Roman harbour, past Hadrian's Gate and the fluted minaret, costs nothing; you simply pay for food, museums and the odd boat trip. It is an easy few hours, and your driver can wait or return at an agreed time.

For shopping or a rainy afternoon, the Mall of Antalya is closer, roughly 32 kilometres and 35 to 45 minutes, at 35, 45 or 60 euros. It has the usual international brands, a food court and a cinema, and opens daily, generally around 10:00 to 22:00, though hours can shift, so check before a late run. Manavgat, Koprulu Canyon and Land of Legends

East of Belek, three very different days await. Manavgat is about 49 kilometres and 50 to 60 minutes away, at 50, 65 or 80 euros; its big open-air market runs on Monday and Thursday, the covered bazaar trades most days, and the wide Manavgat waterfall lies a little further at around 55 kilometres. A boat trip and the bazaar combine into a classic outing.

Koprulu Canyon is the adventure option, roughly 67 kilometres and 70 to 90 minutes into the hills, at 80, 110 or 140 euros; its 14-kilometre river is the home of Antalya rafting. How our day-trip transfers work

A day trip is not a one-way drop; the driver stays with you. You agree the pick-up time, the stops and roughly when you want to head back, and the fixed price covers the whole vehicle for that plan, there and back, with waiting time at the sites included. You pay cash to the driver on the day, in euros, dollars or lira, with nothing to prepay.

Every vehicle carries free child seats, and you can add or change stops when you book over WhatsApp. Multi-site days, such as Perge with Aspendos, or Manavgat with a waterfall, are quoted as a set fare rather than the sum of single trips, so ask for the combined price. If you would prefer a guided, ticket-included day with a group, our excursions run at a fixed per-person rate and cover the driving for you. Either way, cancellation is free up to four hours before pick-up.

When to go: weather, timing and what to bring

Timing makes a big difference at unshaded sites like Aspendos, Perge and Side. High summer is hot and dry, with July and August averaging around 29°C and highs near 35°C, and a sea of 28 to 29°C; May and October are milder at roughly 20°C, and December to February sit around 10 to 11°C. Treat these as seasonal averages and check a current forecast.

In the hot months, start early, carry water and a hat, and save the coast or an air-conditioned mall for the afternoon. The waterfalls and Koprulu Canyon stay cooler and greener than the ruins, which makes them good midsummer choices. Spring and autumn are the sweet spot for history days, with comfortable walking weather and thinner crowds.
