Okurcalar lies at the Alanya end of the coast road, past Belek, Side and Manavgat, and the hotel is built on the shore there, with a sandy beach of its own and a pier reaching out over the water. From the terminal that is 96 km, or 80-100 min of driving in ordinary conditions. A journey of that length is better settled before you fly than at the kerb afterwards: you clear passport control, find your surname on a board, and the cases go into the Mercedes Vito. Nothing else is asked of you until the car stops at the hotel.

The hotel works on an all-inclusive concept and is built around families. There is a mini club and a teenage club, a Lego and sand playground, a children's pool with a mushroom shower, a pirate ship and small slides, an aqua tower, and a baby beach of fine sand; for the adults, a Turkish bath, a sauna, a fitness centre and massage packages in the spa. A week of that means pushchairs and beach bags stacked on top of the suitcases, and the Vito takes them without anyone riding with a case across their knees. When grandparents or friends come along, the eight-seat minivan at €70 keeps everybody in one vehicle, and child seats cost nothing whatever size is needed.
The set-down at the far end is worth a word, because the hotel gives its address as Okurcalar, Alanya, with no street number against it. The booking is therefore written to the hotel name and the area, and the driver takes you to the gate the hotel is working from. Ask at the desk on your first morning which entrance cars are sent to, and hold on to the answer for the way home. Your luggage comes out at the door and the driver leaves once you are with reception.
The journey home is the same vehicle at the same fixed price, arranged over WhatsApp, with 80-100 min of road counted back from check-in. Be exact about the hotel when you book, because the chain also has an Orange County at Belek and another at Kemer, and a car sent against the wrong one will be waiting at the far side of the province. Orange County Alanya, Okurcalar, leaves nothing to guess at. If you want a run into Side, Manavgat or Alanya town during the week, ask and the fare is quoted before you set off.

Your driver stands in the hall before you reach it, board up with your name, whichever terminal takes your flight. The first 60 minutes after the wheels are down are waiting time you do not pay for, which is room enough for a queue at passport control and a baggage belt that will not start. The cases then go onto a trolley and into the Vito, and you leave in a car booked and priced for your party alone, with no other pickups along the route and no half-empty shuttle to fill before it will move.
What the drive out to Okurcalar is like
Okurcalar sits at the long end of the Antalya transfer map: 96 km of coast road, 80-100 min when nothing is holding it up. The route keeps a little inland past Belek and Side, then returns to the sea, and it thickens in high summer where it runs through the middle of the towns. Should the children need to get out, there is a service area to stop at en route, and the stop is not charged for. Slow traffic moves the clock, but the agreed fare does not shift with it.
