The experience
The Belek Fishing Tour is a small-boat sea fishing trip for people who would rather spend a morning on the water than by the pool. A yacht carrying at most six guests leaves a harbour on the Antalya coast in the first light and heads for open water, where the captain sets you up on the species running that week. Nobody needs experience: the crew rigs the tackle, shows you how to work the line and lands the fish with you. Regular anglers get something too, because the captain reads the water rather than anchoring in one spot. Couples, parents with teenagers and small groups of friends book it.
The day starts in the dark. Your driver is at the hotel around 05:00, the roads to the harbour are empty, and you are on the boat as the sky turns pink. Once clear of the coast the captain cuts the engine at the first mark and the rods go in. Through the morning the yacht shifts position several times, following birds, depth changes and what the captain has seen on recent trips. Around midday the crew cleans and grills what has been caught and serves it with lunch and cold soft drinks. The boat is back alongside by 13:00 and the driver returns you to your hotel.

Good to know
Wear layers. It is cool on the water before sunrise and hot by ten, so a light jacket over a T-shirt and shorts works, with a hat, sunglasses and sun cream for later. Bring a swimsuit and towel in case there is a chance to swim between marks, plus a dry change for the ride home. Take seasickness tablets the night before if you are unsure of your sea legs. The trip runs every day, with the calmest seas from May to October. Children pay the adult rate of £42 from age 5 and under-fives come free, though the early start and eight-hour length suit older kids best.

A 05:00 start leaves no margin for a minibus that tours half the resort collecting people. We are a transfer company first, so the pickup is the part we control tightly: you get a named driver, a fixed time and a vehicle that comes to your own hotel gate in Belek, Kadriye or Bogazkent, not a shared coach doing a loop. Send us the date and your party size on WhatsApp +90 551 464 26 32 and you get a written confirmation with the pickup time and the total. The price is fixed at £42 per person, there is no deposit, and you pay cash on the day.
Fixed price, no prepayment. Send the date and number of guests on WhatsApp, receive a written confirmation with your pickup time, and pay on the day. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup for day excursions.
Frequently asked questions
How much is the Belek Fishing Tour and what does the £42 cover?
The rate is £42 per person, the same for adults and for children aged 5 to 11, while infants aged 0 to 4 go free. That covers the transfer from your hotel and back, insurance, all rods and tackle, lunch and soft drinks. Alcohol is not included. If someone in your party wants to ride along without fishing, the non-angler fare is £23. Nothing is paid until the day.
How long does the fishing trip last and when do we get back?
Allow about eight hours door to door. The programme starts at 05:00 and the boat is back in the harbour by 13:00, after which the driver returns you to your hotel, so you are usually at the pool or the beach by early afternoon. The exact hotel pickup time depends on where you are staying and is confirmed on WhatsApp the day before.
Can children come fishing, and is there a child price?
Yes. Children aged 5 to 11 are welcome and pay £42, the same as an adult, because they get their own rod and a full share of the captain's time. Under-fives travel free. Bear in mind the 05:00 start and eight hours mostly at sea, which some younger children find long; families with kids of around eight and up tend to get the most from it. Life jackets are carried on board.
Where exactly will I be picked up, and how early?
From the lobby or main gate of your hotel in Belek, Kadriye or Bogazkent. Because the tour begins at 05:00, we agree the precise pickup time with you in writing the evening before, and the driver waits at the entrance rather than expecting you to walk to a meeting point. If your hotel has a gated entrance far from reception, tell us and we will arrange the spot with security.
What if I need to cancel, or the sea is too rough?
Message us on WhatsApp up to 24 hours before pickup and the booking is cancelled at no cost; since you pay cash on the day, there is nothing to refund. If the captain decides the sea is not safe, which can happen after winter storms, we let you know as early as possible and offer another date or simply drop the booking. Please do tell us rather than simply not appearing, as the boat only holds six.
What should I bring for a morning of sea fishing?
Very little, since rods, reels, bait and lunch are supplied. Pack a swimsuit and towel, a hat, sunglasses and a high-factor sun cream, and a dry set of clothes to change into before the transfer back. A light jacket for the first cold hour is worth having. Leave big bags at the hotel; a small rucksack is plenty. Cash for any drinks beyond the soft drinks provided is the only extra you might want.
