The experience
Pamphylia, the ancient name for the plain between Antalya and Side, holds a remarkable density of Roman-era cities, and Belek sits right in the middle of it. This guided day tour visits the three most impressive of them, Perge, Aspendos and Side, and breaks up the stonework with a stop at Kursunlu Waterfall and a lunch by the Belkis River. It suits couples and families who want a real history fix without a long drive, since the furthest site is only 44 km from your hotel. A professional guide explains what each ruin was for, so you leave understanding the cities rather than just photographing them.
The tour runs daily from 08:00 to 18:00. After pickup the guide sets the scene on the drive, then you walk Perge's colonnaded avenue, past the Roman baths and the agora. Side comes next, with its theatre, old houses and the Temple of Apollo standing above the harbour; you get an hour to wander the lanes or find a coffee. A waterfall stop offers photographs and shade before lunch on the Belkis River. The afternoon belongs to Aspendos, where the Roman theatre is so complete that concerts still fill its seats, along with the aqueduct arches and old bridge. You are back at the hotel around 18:00.

Good to know
Ancient cities mean a lot of walking on marble and uneven stone, so wear shoes with grip and leave the flip-flops at the pool. Shade is scarce at Perge and Aspendos, which is why a hat, sunglasses and sun cream are on the packing list; in July and August start drinking water early and use the hour in Side to cool down in a cafe. Spring and autumn are the most comfortable months for this route. Children aged 4 to 8 pay £25 and under-3s go free, and the waterfall and theatre steps hold their attention better than the columns. Carry lira for drinks, which are not included.
What to bring
- Comfortable walking shoes with grip for marble streets and theatre steps
- Hat and sunglasses; the ancient sites have very little shade
- Sun cream and a refillable water bottle
- Cash in lira for drinks, ice cream and souvenirs, which are not included
- Camera or charged phone for the Aspendos theatre and the waterfall
- A light layer for the cool, damp air around Kursunlu
Taxi Belek Transfer is first and foremost a transfer company, which is why the pickup on this tour is handled carefully. Our drivers know the gates and lobbies of every hotel in Belek, Kadriye and Bogazkent, so you get a precise pickup time rather than a loose window, and the return drop-off is at your own door. Send your hotel name, date and the number of adults and children to WhatsApp +90 551 464 26 32 and a written confirmation comes back with the price locked at £60 per adult, £25 per child and nothing for infants. There is no deposit; you pay in cash on the day.
Fixed price, no prepayment. Send the date and number of guests on WhatsApp, receive a written confirmation with your pickup time, and pay on the day. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup for day excursions.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the Perge, Aspendos, Side and Kursunlu tour cost from Belek?
The 2026 price is £60 per adult, £25 for children aged 4 to 8, and free for infants aged 0 to 3. That covers the return hotel transfer, a professional history guide, insurance, entrance tickets to every site and lunch at a restaurant on the Belkis River. Only drinks and personal spending are extra. The price is fixed when we confirm on WhatsApp and you pay in cash on the day.
How long does the tour take and how far are the sites from Belek?
Allow about ten hours: the tour runs every day from 08:00 to 18:00 including hotel pickup and return. The distances are short compared with most Antalya excursions. Aspendos is roughly 25 km from Belek, Perge about 30 km, Kursunlu Waterfall around 35 km and Side about 44 km, so much of the day is spent on foot at the sites rather than in the vehicle. Opening hours are Kursunlu 08:00-19:00, Perge 09:00-18:30 and Aspendos 08:00-19:00.
Is the tour suitable for children and what do they pay?
Yes. Children aged 4 to 8 pay £25 and infants from 0 to 3 travel free. Be honest with yourself about stamina, though: this is a full day with three archaeological sites and a fair amount of walking in the sun. The waterfall, the Aspendos theatre steps and the hour of free time in Side break things up nicely for younger visitors. Tell us the children's ages when booking so the right rate is applied.
Where and when is the pickup?
Pickup is from the entrance of your hotel in Belek, Kadriye or Bogazkent. The tour starts at 08:00, and because collections are grouped by area your exact time depends on where your hotel sits on the route; we confirm it in writing on WhatsApp the day before. Please be in the lobby a few minutes early with your hat and water, as the vehicle cannot wait long without delaying the whole group.
Can I cancel or move my booking?
Yes. Nothing is paid in advance, so there is no refund to chase. If your plans change, send a WhatsApp message as early as you can, ideally the day before, and we will cancel or shift you to another date; the tour runs every day, so moving is easy. Please do tell us rather than simply not appearing, since your seat, tickets and lunch are reserved in your name.
What should I wear and bring for Perge, Aspendos and Kursunlu?
Comfortable shoes with grip matter most, because ancient streets are polished marble and theatre steps are steep. Add a hat, sunglasses and sun cream, as shade is limited at the ruins, plus a refillable water bottle. Bring some Turkish lira for drinks, ice cream and souvenirs, which are not included. The air around Kursunlu Waterfall is cooler and damp, so a light layer is useful, and a camera earns its place at Aspendos.
