The experience
Velvet Marina is a 2013-built motor yacht measuring 14 metres by 4, licensed for 12 guests and run by a crew of two. Rather than joining a crowded party boat, you share the deck with a small group, or bring your own party of family and friends and have the whole yacht to yourselves. There is one cabin plus a shower and WC on board, with room to stretch out in the sun and shade to retreat to when the midday heat builds. It suits couples wanting a quieter day at sea, families with children who can swim, and small groups celebrating a birthday or anniversary in Belek.
The day starts at your hotel, where our driver picks you up and takes you the short distance to Belek Kundu Harbour. Once everyone is aboard, the captain eases out of the marina and follows the coastline, keeping close enough to shore that you can pick out the golf resorts and long sandy beaches you have been looking at from land all week. Swim stops are chosen according to sea conditions on the day, and lunch is served on deck once appetites have been sharpened by the water. The standard trip runs four hours, though timings are flexible, and you are dropped back at your hotel afterwards.

In high summer a morning start means a cooler drive and calmer water for the first swim, so mention your preferred time when you book and we will pass it to the captain. We collect you directly from your hotel in Belek, Kadriye or Bogazkent and drive you to Belek Kundu Harbour, where the Velvet Marina is moored. The exact pickup time depends on the departure you choose and where your hotel sits on the route, and we confirm it by WhatsApp the day before. After the cruise the same driver is waiting at the harbour to take you back.
What happens if I need to cancel or the weather turns?
Because you pay in cash on the day, there is no online charge to refund; simply message us on WhatsApp as early as you can so the seats can be released. If the harbour authority closes the port for high winds or rough sea, the captain will not sail, and we will offer you another date or cancel without charge. Please give at least 24 hours' notice for a change of plan on your side.
What should I bring for the day on the yacht?
Pack as if for a beach day: swimwear worn under light clothes, a towel, a hat, sunglasses and a high-factor sunscreen, ideally a reef-friendly one. A waterproof pouch for your phone is useful for photos at the swim stops. Lunch and soft drinks are provided, so you only need cash for anything outside the package. Leave passports and jewellery in the hotel safe.
