Gloria Serenity Resort sits in the riverside luxury wing of the Gloria complex, tucked among the pines with its own villas and the calm of the Acisu stream. From the resort to The Land of Legends is only about 6 km, a short private run of 10 to 15 minutes through Kadriye. Your driver is already waiting when you step out of the lobby, so there is no queue, no shuttle timetable and no shared minibus stopping at other hotels. You settle into an air-conditioned car and arrive at the Kingdom of Dreams gate before the day has properly warmed up.

Because Gloria Serenity Resort guests expect a certain standard, the last thing you want on a short hop is a meter creeping upward in traffic. Our fare is fixed per vehicle and agreed before you travel, so 6 km costs the same whether Kadriye is quiet or busy on a summer evening. A Mercedes Vito for one to six is from 25 € and an eight-seat minivan from 30 €. The return leg is the same price, and there is never a night surcharge, however late the fountains keep you.

Golf bags, pushchairs and cases come along on most of these runs, so we send van-class cars only and the Mercedes Vito is where every booking starts. Golfers crossing between rounds on Gloria's 45 holes and families staying in the resort's villas ride in the same car, which swallows clubs, cool bags and a full day's worth of souvenirs from Shopping Avenue with room to spare. Larger parties, or two families sharing, fit an eight-seat minivan comfortably. Whichever you choose, child seats are free and fitted before pickup, so little ones ride safely on the short run to the park and home again after the night show.

Villas at Gloria Serenity Resort are spread along the riverside, so we keep pickups simple. Tell us your villa or room number when you book on WhatsApp and the driver meets you at the main lobby entrance with a name-board, or comes to your villa cluster where the buggy road allows. There is no hunting for a rank and no shared shuttle winding between hotels. If you have just finished a round on Gloria golf, the buggy drop is a two-minute stroll from the lobby, and the car is ready the moment you are.

A day at the park for Gloria guests

The Land of Legends rewards an early start. Ride the Hyper Coaster before the queues build, then cool off in the aquapark, open from late spring to early autumn. Families from the resort's villas often break at lunchtime, wander the free-to-walk Shopping Avenue and its aquarium, then return for the afternoon. Park tickets are from about £65 per person, bought separately from your transfer. Because the resort is only 6 km away, some guests even pop back to the villa for a rest and have the driver bring them out again for the evening.

Evening night show and the ride home

The after-dark show is the highlight: dancing fountains, a lit parade and music along the central lagoon. It finishes late, and this is exactly when a pre-booked transfer earns its keep. Rather than joining the crush at the taxi rank, message us when the parade begins and your driver is waiting as the crowd spills out. There is no night surcharge, so the fare home is the same 25 € upward as the morning. Within ten minutes or so you are back at Gloria Serenity Resort, with the riverside quiet closing in around you.
