Driver's note on L'Oceanica Beach Resort Hotel: An all-inclusive resort in Çamyuva Bay with a guests-only stretch of Blue Flag beach, outdoor pools with water slides, and a Kids Club in both the main building and the annex.
The ride from L'Oceanica Beach Resort Hotel
Kadriye is a long way from Çamyuva, because the whole of Antalya sits between them, which is exactly why the day is easier in one car. The driver comes to the resort entrance on Ağa Ceylan, heads north along the coast road through Kemer and Göynük, rounds Antalya and carries on east past the airport towards Serik before turning off for Kadriye. It is 90 km and 70 to 90 minutes of driving. Nobody changes vehicle on the way, the bags stay in the boot and small children generally sleep through the middle of it.
On a run of this length a meter is an uncomfortable way to start a holiday morning, so ours is agreed on WhatsApp before the car is sent. It is from €90 for a Mercedes Vito and €120 for the minivan, a figure that buys the whole car and not a seat in it, and the homeward leg is charged alike. The driver is paid in cash once the day is done, in EUR, USD or TRY, and nothing is taken in advance; because the service runs 24/7, a late finish at the park carries no supplement.
L'Oceanica already has a Kids Club in the main building and another in the annex, along with water slides of its own, so the children who have spent the week on those tend to want the park's water zones too. The Vito seats up to six with room left for a pushchair, towels and a bag of damp swimwear on the way back, and the minivan at €120 seats up to eight when families go across together. Seats and boosters for children cost nothing and go in before the car turns into Çamyuva, so send the ages along with the booking. Tickets for the rides and the water zones are bought from the park, not from us.
Where the car picks you up at L'Oceanica
The driver pulls into the entrance on Ağa Ceylan and waits by reception with a name board, so the pickup happens at the same door you walk through for the lobby. Leave the ages and the room name when you book, and message on WhatsApp as breakfast finishes, so the car is standing there when you come out through the doors. There is no walk out to the main road and no meeting point to find: bags go straight from the lobby into the boot and the car leaves for Kadriye from the door.
What a day at the park involves
Inside the gates the rides take the morning, and in the warm months the water zones are what most families with children come for, especially ones already used to the slides back at the resort. All of that sits behind a ticket, which the park sells. Shopping Avenue, the open street outside the turnstiles, is generally free to enter, so time spent there costs nothing even if you skip the rest. Set off early from Çamyuva and the 70 to 90 minute drive still leaves a full day before the gates matter.
The evening and the drive back
The after-dark programme runs along Shopping Avenue and does not need a park ticket, so a family can leave the beach at Çamyuva in the afternoon, eat at the park and stay on for it. What it does need is checking: the show days and times change through the season, and the park's own schedule is the only reliable version. Your driver holds his time without charge, whatever the finish. A WhatsApp message at the close of the finale brings the car round to the gate about 15 minutes on, by which point the crowd has spread out.
Night-show tip: The evening programme along Shopping Avenue can be watched without a park ticket, but the days and times it runs move through the season, so check the park's own schedule before you settle the car. Message your driver once the finale ends and the pickup follows about 15 minutes later, by which time the gate crowd has thinned, and there is no late-hour supplement on the run back to Çamyuva.
Pickup: The car waits at the main entrance on Ağa Ceylan, by reception and holding a name board, rather than on the beach side of the resort. Stay in the lobby until the driver messages and then come out, so the vehicle is not left standing at the door longer than it has to be.
A typical Land of Legends day from L'Oceanica Beach Resort Hotel
- Breakfast at L'Oceanica, then a WhatsApp message to call the car up
- The car waits at the main entrance on Ağa Ceylan; swim bags and towels into the boot
- North through Kemer, round Antalya and east to Kadriye, 70 to 90 minutes in all
- Through the turnstiles for the rides, on a ticket bought from the park
- An afternoon in the water zones, then out to Shopping Avenue
- A message to the driver at the close of the finale; the gate pickup follows about 15 minutes on
Practical tips
- Check the park's own schedule for show days before you fix the car, as the evening programme shifts through the season.
- Parents with children fit the Mercedes Vito from €90; the minivan at €120 is for parties of up to eight.
- Tell us how old the children are and the free seats and boosters travel out with the vehicle.
- Buy park tickets from the park itself, as the transfer fare covers the car and the rides and water zones are separate.
- Have cash ready for the driver, EUR, USD or TRY alike, as nothing is prepaid and the vehicle takes no cards.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a transfer from L'Oceanica Beach Resort to The Land of Legends?
A Mercedes Vito that holds up to six is from €90; a minivan holding up to eight is €120. The price covers the vehicle, not each seat, and the return to Çamyuva is charged identically, with the driver taking cash in EUR, USD or TRY.
How long does it take to reach the park from Çamyuva?
Around 90 km and 70 to 90 minutes, because the route runs north through Kemer, around Antalya and then east past the airport to the Kadriye turn. Traffic through the city can add to it in high summer, which is why the fare is agreed in advance and does not move with the clock.
Can we have child seats for the drive?
Yes, and at no charge. Infant, child and booster sizes are all carried, and the right ones are in place before the car pulls up at the entrance, so give the ages when you book on WhatsApp. Either vehicle still has room for a pushchair and for the damp swimwear that comes home with you.
Do we need a park ticket for everything?
Anything behind the turnstiles, rides and water zones alike, runs on a ticket that the park sells. Shopping Avenue is generally free to walk into, so an evening there is possible without a full ticket. Which days the shows run, and at what hour, moves about during the season, so the park's official listing is what to go by.
Will the driver wait until we are finished?
Yes, and with no supplement for the hour. Nothing has to be committed to in advance. WhatsApp him whenever you have had enough, or at the close of the finale, and about 15 minutes on he is at the gate for the 70 to 90 minute drive home.
