The experience
Green Canyon is the local name for the long, narrow reservoir created in 1977 when the Oymapinar dam was built across the Manavgat river. The result is a 14 km ribbon of glassy green water hemmed in by limestone walls, sitting 350 m above sea level and fed by 27 different sources. This full-day tour is built around a slow boat cruise along that water, with swimming breaks, lunch on deck and time on shore. The coach leaves the Belek strip at 08:00 and heads east past Side before turning inland, a run of 1.5 to 2 hours. The first halt is at the dam wall, where a raised platform gives you a first look down the canyon. From there it is a short hop to the jetty. Once aboard, the boat noses between the cliffs, pausing in sheltered bays so you can slip into the water. Lunch is served on board with unlimited drinks. Back on land there is free time to fish, swim again or sit on the terrace before the drive home, which has you at your hotel around 18:00.

Bring swimwear and a towel because the swim stops are the highlight, plus a hat, sunglasses and sun cream for the open deck. Please be ready five minutes early, as the driver has several hotels to collect from before the drive inland.
Can I cancel or change my Green Canyon booking?
