The experience
Swimming with dolphins is one of those excursions that children talk about for the rest of the holiday. This session takes place in the pool of a dolphin park on the Antalya side of Belek, where a trainer walks you through the basics and then brings the dolphins over to meet you. Expect roughly half an hour of direct contact: feeding fish, ball games, a moment resting against a dolphin's belly and the famous dolphin kiss. It suits families with children aged seven and over, couples looking for something different, and anyone who wants a memorable morning without giving up the whole day.
Our driver picks you up from the hotel entrance in good time for the 10:00 start. From Kadriye the run to the park is about 17 km; from Bogazkent it is nearer 31 km, so allow a little longer. On arrival you change, meet the trainer and listen to the briefing, which covers how to move around the dolphins and what signals they respond to. Then it is into the water for the swim itself, followed by play time, feeding and a few poses for the park photographer if you want them. The session wraps up at 12:00 and you are back at the hotel for lunch.

Wear your swimsuit under your clothes so you are not queuing for a cubicle, and pack a towel and something dry for the drive home. The park runs the session every day of the week through the season, and the morning slot means the sun is gentler than it would be in the afternoon. The minimum age for swimmers is seven; younger siblings can watch from the side, but check with us first. Anyone with a skin condition, epilepsy, asthma, a nervous-system disorder or serious high blood pressure is asked not to take part. Leave jewellery at the hotel and bring a hair tie for long hair.

What if I need to cancel or change the date?
Because you pay in cash on the day, there is nothing to refund if your plans change; just let us know on WhatsApp as early as you can so the place can be released. Moving to another morning is usually simple since the session runs daily. If you feel unwell on the day, or a child is nervous about going in, tell the driver and we will help you rearrange rather than lose the experience.
What should I bring for the dolphin swim?
Keep it simple: a swimsuit, a towel and flip-flops for the poolside. Wearing the swimsuit under your clothes saves time on arrival, and a dry change for the ride back is a good idea. Leave watches and jewellery at the hotel, tie back long hair, and bring a little cash if you want the park's photos or video, which are not part of the package.
