One-way, per vehicle, fixed in writing. Return = same price. Tolls, parking and waiting included.
Driver's note on Michell Hotel: Michell Hotel is an adults-only, ultra all-inclusive hotel at Kestel, set at the foot of the Toros mountains, with its Blue Flag beach reached by an underpass beneath the coast road.
The ride from Michell Hotel
This is one of the longest runs to Kadriye, so it needs a whole day rather than a spare afternoon. The driver loads at the hotel entrance, on the inland side of the coast road, and turns west through Alanya. After that it is Avsallar, Okurcalar, the shore road past Manavgat and the turnings for Side, and then inland at Serik. Kestel to the Kingdom of Dreams gates is 105 km and 95–115 min. Leaving straight after breakfast gives you the park from opening; a late start is better spent on the evening, when Shopping Avenue and dinner are the point.
The distance is exactly why the price is settled on paper before anyone sets off. It is charged per vehicle: the Mercedes Vito from €120, seating up to six, or the eight-seat minivan at €150, the same in each direction and never divided by the number of heads. A rank taxi out of Alanya means a meter running the length of the coast road twice over, and a conversation about it at the park gate when you are tired. Our figure does not move however late the evening ends, and you hand it to the driver in cash in euros, dollars or lira.
Michell takes adults only, so the day out from here is usually a couple or a group of friends going for the coasters, the aquarium and the evening rather than a family with a pushchair. The hotel's own pool list runs to outdoor pools and a Silence Pool, with no slides among them, which is part of why Kadriye is worth the drive. The Mercedes Vito is the entry vehicle and leaves room for swim things, a towel and something dry to change into; a bigger group takes the minivan. Ask on WhatsApp if you want the drive broken by a stop on the coast road, as it costs nothing to pull in.
Where the car waits at Michell Hotel
The car comes to the main entrance and the driver waits inside by reception with a name board. Michell stands on the inland side of the coast road at Kestel, so there is no walking out to the carriageway and no coming up from the beach through the underpass: the drop-off is a few steps from the lobby. Give the name the room is booked under, and send a WhatsApp message as breakfast finishes so the car is there by the time you come down with the bags.
Planning a park day from Kestel
At 105 km Kestel is the far edge of what the park draws from, so the day has to start early. Leaving as soon as breakfast is done puts you at the turnstiles as they open, so the Hyper Coaster and the big rides come before the queues build, with the aquapark afterwards from late spring to early autumn. Shopping Avenue and its aquarium can be walked without a ticket and make a shady hour in the middle of the day. Put something dry in the bag for the return leg, because the road home is another 95–115 min.
Coming back after the castle finale
The dancing fountains, the parade and the castle finale happen on Shopping Avenue, outside the turnstiles, so the evening is open to anyone who has come over for dinner. Your driver waits through it and nothing is added for the late hour. Message on WhatsApp as the last fountains drop; the car is round at the gate once the approach has cleared, and the run back to Kestel is another 95–115 min at a quiet time on the coast road.
Night-show tip: Shopping Avenue puts on its parade, its dancing fountains and its castle finale after dark, and none of it sits behind the turnstiles, so a group from Kestel can come across late, eat beside the canal and still catch all of it. Message the driver once the finale is done: waiting costs nothing, and the car reaches the gate about 15 minutes later, after the crowd has cleared the approach, for the road back east.
Pickup: At Michell the driver waits at the main entrance by reception with a name board, not out on the coast road and not down at the beach through the underpass. Wait in the lobby; he will message when the car is in place.
A typical Land of Legends day from Michell Hotel
- Early breakfast at Michell, then a message to the driver on WhatsApp
- Car at the main entrance; swim bags and dry clothes into the boot
- West through Alanya and along the shore past Manavgat, with a roadside stop if you want one
- Kadriye in time for the turnstiles to open
- The main rides first, the aquapark later, then dinner beside the canal
- A message after the castle finale, then the road back east to Kestel
Practical tips
- Set off straight after breakfast, as at 95–115 min each way a late start eats the part of the day you came for.
- Say when you book if you want the drive broken on the coast road, since a stop does not move the €120 fare.
- Bring a bag for wet swimming things and something dry to travel home in, as the aquapark runs from late spring to early autumn.
- An evening trip works without a park ticket, since Shopping Avenue, the aquarium and the night show are all outside the turnstiles.
- Pay the driver in cash in euros, dollars or lira at the hotel entrance, as there is no card machine in the car.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a taxi from Michell Hotel to The Land of Legends?
The fare is charged per vehicle and written down before the car leaves Kestel: the Mercedes Vito from €120 seating up to six, or the eight-seat minivan at €150. Coming back costs the same, nothing is calculated by the head, and the driver takes cash in euros, dollars or lira with nothing added for a late finish.
How long is the drive from Kestel to The Land of Legends?
Kestel to Kadriye is 105 km, and the drive takes 95–115 min in each direction. The car goes west through Alanya, along the coast by Avsallar, Okurcalar and Manavgat, past the Side turnings, then inland at Serik. Traffic on that road in high summer can add to the time, which is why the fare is fixed before you leave.
Is the day trip worth it from this far east?
It is a long drive, which is why it repays an early start: breakfast, the road, and the turnstiles at opening, with the free night show on Shopping Avenue at the other end of the day. If the evening alone suits you better, the car and the fare do not change, and the driver stays at the park until you are ready.
Does the driver wait at the park all day?
Yes. He stays at Kadriye instead of driving the coast road home and back, so no return time has to be fixed when you book. Send a WhatsApp message whenever you have finished, mid-afternoon or after the castle finale, and the car meets you at the gate.
Do you also run the Antalya Airport transfer to Michell Hotel?
Yes. We meet the flight at Antalya Airport with a name board, and the waiting while you clear the terminal is free. From there the road runs east to Kestel. Pricing there is written and per vehicle as well, the service runs 24/7, and the airport run and the park day can be settled in one WhatsApp conversation.
