Robinson Club Nobilis draws sporty couples, golfing friends and active families, and almost everyone here travels with clubs, kit bags or a pushchair, so we run van-class vehicles only. A pair heading over between tennis sessions takes the same Mercedes Vito as a golf four-ball with clubs and a few bags, up to six seats from 25 €. Larger family groups or two couples travelling together take the eight-seat minivan from 30 €. Every fare is per vehicle rather than per head, so a full car costs the same flat price, and free child seats are fitted on request for younger players.

Open on the Hyper Coaster and the thrill rides, then walk the free-to-walk Shopping Avenue with its aquarium and the boutiques beneath the Kingdom Hotel. From late spring to early autumn the big aquapark is perfect for burning off an afternoon between slides and loungers, with restaurants lining the water for lunch. Because the park is only 6 km from the club, you can even nip back for a tennis lesson or nine holes on the Nobilis course, then return refreshed for the evening.

The night show and your ride home

The Land of Legends night show is the day's finale — dancing fountains, projections and a parade that fills Shopping Avenue after dark. It is well worth staying for, and getting home is no trouble. Your driver keeps an eye on the show timing and waits afterwards, with no night surcharge however late the parade runs. A quick WhatsApp message as the crowd starts to thin brings the car back to the same meeting point, and you are inside Robinson Club Nobilis within about 15 minutes of leaving the gates, ready for a well-earned rest.
