When you book we take your room number and a mobile for WhatsApp, then confirm a pickup time at the main lobby. The car waits under the entrance canopy on the resort's access road, off the beach side, so you are not lugging bags across the sand. Your driver holds a name-board and helps with pushchairs and pool floats before setting off. If you are still finishing breakfast a quick WhatsApp message keeps the car in place — there is no meter running while you gather everyone, and reception is happy to point you to the waiting vehicle.

A family day at the park

Land of Legends rewards an early start. Families from Vera Mare Resort tend to hit the aquapark first while it is quiet — the wave pool and slides run from late spring to early autumn — then break for lunch before the Hyper Coaster and the themed rides. The free-to-walk Shopping Avenue and its aquarium give younger children and grandparents somewhere cool to rest in the afternoon heat. Park tickets start from about £65 per person and are best bought ahead. Because the ride back is barely ten minutes, some families nip to the resort for a nap and return for the evening.

Evening night show and the ride home

The after-dark show is the highlight for most children — dancing fountains, a lit parade and music on the central boulevard.
