About this tour
The Pamphylia plain around Belek is one of the densest concentrations of ancient cities in the Mediterranean. Aspendos was a major Greco-Roman trade city, Perge was a regional capital under both Hellenistic and Roman rule, and Side was the busiest port of Pamphylia. Each tells a different chapter of the same story, and they sit close enough to combine in a single, unhurried day trip from Belek.
Aspendos is famous for its 2nd-century AD Roman theatre, often described as the best-preserved ancient theatre anywhere in the Mediterranean. The acoustics are extraordinary — a coin dropped in the centre can be heard in the highest row. Perge, just outside modern Antalya, has a stadium, agora, Hellenistic gates, a colonnaded main street and Roman baths. Side ends the day with seafront temples and a working harbour next to Roman ruins.
On a private tour you control the pace. Spend 90 minutes in Aspendos if the theatre captivates you, or move on quickly. Have lunch at a fish restaurant in Side. Watch sunset at the Temple of Apollo. The driver waits at each site — no group herd, no closing-time pressure.

Frequently asked questions
Can I see all three cities in one day from Belek?
Yes — Aspendos, Perge and Side are within 70 km of each other. With a 09:00 start you have time for an unhurried visit at each site plus lunch in Side. A private vehicle makes this easy; a group bus rarely covers all three.
Are the ancient sites accessible for elderly visitors?
Aspendos and Side are largely walkable with paved or compacted paths. Perge has more uneven terrain. The driver can drop you near each site entrance and pick you up on the other side to reduce walking.
Is there a museum at Side?
Yes — the small Side Museum sits inside a restored Roman bath and contains excellent statues and reliefs from the local excavations. Worth a 30-minute visit.
Can we swim at Side beach during the tour?
Yes, on request. Side's eastern beach is a short walk from the ancient ruins. Bring swimwear and a towel if you want a quick swim before heading back.
Are guided commentary options available?
A licensed professional guide can be added on request for an extra fee. Our drivers know the sites well but are not licensed tour guides under Turkish law.
