About this tour
The Lycian coastline west of Antalya feels like a different country — wilder, greener, with mountain villages stepping down to a turquoise sea. The combined Demre + Myra + Kekova tour covers two ancient civilisations and one of the most photographed shorelines in the Mediterranean.
Myra is famous for its rock-cut Lycian tombs carved into a vertical cliff face, and its Roman theatre at the base. Demre is the birthplace of St Nicholas (the historical figure behind Santa Claus) — his 4th-century Byzantine church is still standing, with frescoes and a tomb. Kekova is best seen from the water: a sunken Roman/Byzantine city visible just under the surface as you glide over it in a glass-bottom boat.
On the private tour you leave Belek around 07:30 and drive west via Kemer and Finike. After Myra and the St Nicholas church you take a Kekova boat trip from Üçağız harbour. Lunch by the harbour, then return via the same coastal route or the inland motorway depending on time and preference.
