The experience
Horse riding in Belek is the quiet alternative to the quad bikes and rafting boats. The riding club sits in the countryside behind the resort strip, where the coastal plain begins to rise into the first slopes of the Taurus Mountains. The horses are a local Turkish breed, valued for stamina and an even temper, which makes them well suited to riders who have never sat in a saddle. Couples wanting a peaceful morning, families with older children and anyone who prefers birdsong to engine noise will get the most from it. Confident riders are welcome too, although the pace stays gentle so the whole group moves together.
Your driver collects you from the hotel and takes you to the equestrian club. The first stop is the stables, where the instructor introduces the horses and shows you round. Helmets are fitted and there is a short talk on how to sit, hold the reins and ask the horse to stop and turn, followed by a few minutes of practice riding under supervision. Then the group heads out on the trail, winding along forest tracks and between rows of fruit trees, with breaks beside the mountain streams. The programme lasts about an hour and a half before the bus returns you to your hotel.

Good to know
Rides go out every day between 09:00 and 18:00. In high summer ask for an early morning slot, since the forest is cooler and the horses are fresher; in spring and autumn any time works. Wear long trousers or leggings to avoid saddle rub, closed shoes with a little heel so your foot stays in the stirrup, and a light top you can move in. A hat for the breaks, sunglasses and a bottle of water are worth packing. Children aged 4 to 10 have their own booking band, but there is no published child price, so send the ages on WhatsApp and we will confirm.

Frequently asked questions
How much does horse riding in Belek cost?
The 2026 price is £40 per person. That single figure covers the transfer from your hotel and back, the instructor, helmet and protective equipment, and insurance for the ride. The only thing not included is personal spending. You pay in cash on the day, so there is no online deposit and nothing to refund if your plans change.
How long does the ride last?
The programme at the riding club runs for about 1 hour 30 minutes. That time includes the walk round the stables, helmet fitting, the safety talk, a short practice ride and the guided trail ride itself with its stream-side breaks. Add the transfer from your hotel and back, which depends on where you are staying, so allow a little longer than the ride itself when planning lunch or a spa slot.
Can children ride, and is there a child price?
The operator lists children aged 4 to 10 and infants aged 0 to 3 as separate booking bands, but only the adult rate of £40 is published. Whether a child rides alone or is led by an instructor depends on age and confidence, so tell us the ages when you message and we will confirm the arrangement and the price before you commit. Child seats in our transfer vehicles are free.
Where and when do you pick me up?
We collect riders from any hotel in Belek, Kadriye and Bogazkent. Rides are available every day between 09:00 and 18:00, and the pickup time depends on the session you choose and how far your hotel is from the club. Once you book on WhatsApp we send the exact time in writing, and the driver waits at the main entrance or lobby. Please be ready a few minutes early.
What is the cancellation policy?
Because payment is in cash on the day, nothing is taken from your card and there is nothing to claim back. If you need to cancel or move to another date, send a WhatsApp message as early as you can, ideally the day before, so the horse and the seat in the bus can be released. In the rare case of weather that makes the trails unsafe, the club offers another session and we confirm the change by message.
What should I wear and bring for horse riding?
Long trousers or leggings protect your legs from the saddle, and closed shoes with a small heel keep your foot from sliding through the stirrup; trainers are acceptable, sandals are not. Choose a light, breathable top, and bring a hat and sunglasses for the breaks by the streams. A bottle of water is sensible in summer. A riding helmet and other protective gear are provided at the club, so you do not need any of your own equipment.
