The experience
The Belek jeep safari is the simplest way to see what lies behind the resort strip. Not long after leaving the coast you are on unpaved mountain tracks in a convoy of Land Rover and SUV jeeps, bouncing past pine trees and fruit orchards towards villages that most visitors never reach. It is a shared group tour, so you travel with other holidaymakers, and it works well for couples, groups of friends and families with school-age children. No driving experience is needed; the vehicles are handled by local drivers, and a guide travels with the group throughout the day.
Pickup is at 09:00 from hotels across the Belek area. The transfer heads inland to Gebiz, where you meet the guide, hear a short briefing and climb into the jeeps. The first stretch follows rough ground near the Chygyrgan River before a stop in Degirmenburnu, where you step inside a rural house to see how mountain families live. The track then climbs to 700 metres for a view of Bozburun mountain. Lunch is served at a restaurant on a trout farm, with an hour and a half to relax afterwards, and the afternoon ends with a swim stop on the Pinargozu river near Hatipler before the 16:00 return.

Good to know
Dress for dust rather than dinner. Light, close-fitting clothes, closed shoes and a hat are the sensible choice, and sun cream matters because most of the day is spent outdoors. Pack swimwear and a towel for the river, which is bracing even in August. The tour runs every day, and mornings are cooler, so the 09:00 start suits families. Children aged 6-12 pay half price and under-5s ride free, though babies under one year cannot join and women in late pregnancy are not accepted. Seats directly behind the driver are kept for those travelling with small children or with limited mobility.
What to bring

Frequently asked questions
How much does the Belek jeep safari cost in 2026?
The 2026 price is £28 per adult. Children aged 6 to 12 pay £14 and infants aged 0 to 5 travel free. That covers the hotel transfer, the guide, insurance, lunch and tea, so the only extra money you need is for personal spending such as drinks beyond what is served or souvenirs in the villages. You pay in cash on the day.
How long does the jeep safari take?
Plan on roughly seven hours door to door. The shared transfer leaves the Belek hotels at 09:00 and you are usually back by about 16:00. Within that window there is the drive to Gebiz, the off-road stages, the village visit, lunch and an hour and a half of free time, plus the river stop. It fills a whole day, so do not book an evening tour that starts early.
Can I bring young children on the jeep safari?
Yes, this is a family tour and children are welcome. Kids aged 6 to 12 pay the reduced £14 rate and those aged 0 to 5 go free. The one hard limit is that babies under one year old cannot travel. If you have a toddler, mention it when booking so the seats behind the driver, which are reserved for small children and guests with disabilities, are held for you.
Where and when will I be picked up?
Pickup is around 09:00 from hotels in Belek, Kadriye and Bogazkent. It is a shared transfer that calls at several hotels, so your exact time depends on where you are staying; we send it to you on WhatsApp the day before. Wait in the lobby or at the hotel gate a few minutes early, as the driver works to a route and cannot hold the group for long.
What is the cancellation policy?
Because you pay in cash on the day, there is no deposit to lose. If your plans change, message us on WhatsApp as early as you can, ideally by the evening before, so we can release your seats. No-shows and cancellations once the tour has started are not refunded. If the operator calls the day off for weather or safety reasons, you owe nothing and we will offer another date.
What should I wear and bring for the jeep safari?
Think dust, sun and cold water. Wear light clothes that sit close to the body, so they do not flap about on the track, and shoes that will not slip off. Add sunglasses, a hat and a high-factor sun cream. Bring swimwear and a towel for the Pinargozu river stop, and a small amount of cash for personal extras. Leave anything you would hate to get dusty at the hotel.
